As the environmental importance of alternative fuel
vehicles – commonly called AFVs – grows, so does the need for accurate
information about AFV ownership, fueling, and tax incentives.
Addressing that need with a focused and well-defined seminar was the
National AFV Day Odyssey put together by the Tulsa Clean Cities
Program.
More than 80 local fleet managers and company
presidents joined city, regional and state officials at the morning
seminar that featured a guest from the U.S. Department of Energy
and a
motivational speaker. Local owners of alternative fuel vehicles – and
their actual vehicles - were exhibited in an “I Love My AFV”
presentation. Governor Keating and the Mayor LaFortune issued
proclamations and media coverage was excellent.
For efficiently showcasing the issues and values of AFVs, THE TULSA CLEAN CITIES PROGRAM IS GOOD NEWS FOR THE AIR WE BREATHE IN OKLAHOMA!
