As the first city in Oklahoma to sign the national Mayor’s Climate Agreement, the City of Norman adopted 12 ambitious goals in February to reduce its carbon footprint.  Already underway is a new bike parking ordinance, new bus routes, a proposal for a LEED-certified fire station, the use of bio-diesel in the city fleet and many other impressive initiatives.
