Oklahoma City…Terri Angier has been elected President of the Board of Keep Oklahoma Beautiful, Inc. at the group’s annual meeting July 22. Angier, Chief of the Media and Public Relations Division of the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, has served as a director of the volunteer board since January 2005.
In addition to her high level state agency position which she has held since 1995, Ms. Angier teaches journalism and public relations courses as an adjunct professor at the University of Central Oklahoma and serves on, and is past chair of, the Subcommittee on Public Affairs for the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials.
Also elected to lead the organization for the coming year were President-Elect Donna Lemons, Walmart Market Manager; Secretary Vaughn Clark, Deputy Director, Oklahoma Department of Commerce and Treasurer Heather Lytle, Senior Partner, H&L Media Partners.
Keep Oklahoma Beautiful is a statewide nonprofit organization with a mission to facilitate and recognize grassroots efforts that will improve the aesthetic, environmental and sustainable quality of life in Oklahoma.
