WATCH FOR 2010 PREMIER!
Create the video clip that everyone will be talking about!
Tackle the issue of littering in a 30-second video clip and you could be a big winner in the Keep Oklahoma Beautiful statewide search for the funniest, most memorable or most amazing anti-litter message to hit the air waves this year.
Entries accepted in the following categories:
- High School (jrs and srs)
- College 1 (freshmen and soph)
- College 2 (jrs and srs)
In each category, entries will fall into one of these areas:
- Best Humor
- Best Catch Phrase
- Best Special Effects
Competition is coordinated through higher level education - drama, film, journalism, advertising - classes across the state.
Entries are submitted by digitally uploading to the KOB Web site and must be pre-screened by classroom instructors for appropriateness and quality, based on KOB criteria.
Judges will narrow the field of competition to several finalists in each category and those clips will be published to YouTube, MySpace, Facebook and the KOB Web site. In addition the clips will be released to local media for widespread exposure. Winners will be selected by a combination of public voting and a panel of judges.
WINNING STUDENTS RECEIVE TROPHIES and the prestige of having the clips turned into public service announcements that will air on statewide television, web sites, YouTube, and be available as pod casts for an entire year.
