Keep Oklahoma Beautiful's 20th Annual Environmental Awards program will recognize the good works of Oklahomans for their exceptional efforts in the areas of environmental improvement, beautification/landscaping and environmental education/promotion -completed during the 12-month period ending June 30, 2010.
Finalists will be honored and award winners announced on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 during the KOB Banquet and Awards Ceremony at the Skirvin Hilton Hotel in Oklahoma City.
Awards Entry Guidelines
Beginning in 2010, you may only submit your nominations online - saving paper, time and postage. If this presents a problem for you, please contact Sonny Wilkinson at 405-286-9141 or sonny@keepoklahomabeautiful.com so that an arrangement can be made regarding your nomination.
Read the following guidelines before starting the nomination process:
- You are required to upload a typed summary of the project or achievement. The summary is limited to one page with a 750 word maximum and must be either in a .doc, .docx or .pdf file.
- You may submit no more than 2 letters of support per nomination. You may upload the letters (.doc, .docx or .pdf) when completing the online nomination form. Make certain that each latter clearly states the name of the NOMINEE and CATEGORY.
- You may submit no more than 4 supporting documents per nomination. Examples would include news clippings, project graphics or brochures. You may not submit any video. If you are unable to upload these at the time your submit your online nomination, you may mail them to KOB, making certain to label each piece with the name of the NOMINEE and CATEGORY.
- You are required to submit at least 5 photos, no more than 10, that accurately represent your project or achievement. If you are nominating an individual, at least one of your photos must be a recent head & shoulders shot and the others must be of the individual in action.
Award Entries are due by August 25, 2010.
KOB will acknowledge receipt of your entry. Award finalists will be notified by September 3, 2010. The surprise announcement of award winners will be made at the Banquet on November 16, 2010.

The online nomination form will be available July 1, 2010. The deadline to submit a nomination is August 25, 2010.
