"How to Care for My Baby Redbud" - Oklahoma Council of Garden Clubs project in Shawnee - 2nd grade students receive a redbud seedling along with a guide book on caring for the tree. The students plant and care for the trees, take photos as each of them grows. The town gets greener, the students start a life-long relationship with trees and nature in general. - Shawnee Garden Club
