New for 2012!
Keep Oklahoma Beautiful has made several improvements to the registration process for the 2012 Great American Cleanup™ in Oklahoma. These changes were made to help the hundreds of organizations that register for this program have a much higher success rate by attracting more volunteers to their events and ensuring that an adequate number of supplies and in-kind donations are made available.
Step 1: Register your Business, Group or Organization
Businesses, groups or organizations wishing to participate in the Great American Cleanup must first register for the Great American Cleanup™ in Oklahoma with Keep Oklahoma Beautiful. You will no longer be required to submit a separate form to Keep America Beautiful, KOB will handle all of that for you!
Upon successfully submitting the registration form (found here), you will receive an email within 48-72 hours which will contain a unique organization ID number. This number will be required to submit your in-kind donation request, register events and submit grant applications and WrapUP Reports. Also included in the email will be the password which is required to unlock the In-Kind Donation Request and Event Registration Forms.

Step 2: In-Kind Program Materials Request
Trying to determine how many trash bags, banners and other materials hasn't always been an exact science. Some groups have received too much and others, too litte. To correct this, KOB is asking for your help!
Once you receive your Organization ID after completing step 1, you will be able to access the GAC In-Kind Donation Request form. This form will allow you to to request a specified quantity of banners, bags, water coupons and other materials that are made available from the GAC National Sponsors.
KOB staff wil review your request and contact you if any adjustments need to be made. Thanks to our partnership with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, supplies will be delivered to the ODOT County Maintenance Yard closest to you. You'll receive a call when they are ready to pick up!

Step 3: Register Your Event
Now that you have registered your business, group or organization and have requested materials, the next step is to register your event(s). You can have more than one event during the program period (March 1 - May 31), we just ask that you submit a different event registration form for each event. This will help KOB keep track of everything a little better and also enable us to attract more volunteers to your GAC event(s).
Want to attract more volunteers to your event? Here's how KOB can help. You will have the option to allow KOB to post/promote your listing on its website and Facebook page, as well as on KAB's Great American Cleanup page. These websites receive hundreds of hits daily from individuals looking for ways they can help with the GAC. Why not attract them to your event(s) and enhance an already successful project. So, please complete the event listing as best you can. If you need to change a time or date, simply call the KOB office and we'll make the change for you!

Step 4: Submit your WrapUP Report
We feel like this is the greatest enhancement of all for 2012. When submitting your WrapUP report, you will no longer be required to submit a report to KOB, ODOT and KAB. All you have to do now is submit one copy to KOB and we'll handle the rest. The deadline for submitting the WrapUP report has been moved to August 1st to give you a little more time to get everything in to KOB.
