KOB Award Nominations Due 8/31

The nomination deadline for Keep Oklahoma Beautiful's Environmental Excellence Competition is right around the corner!

KOB wants to honor the hard work and forward thinking of businesses, individuals, educators, government agencies and organizations that have dedicated themselves to improving Oklahoma's aesthetic, environmental and sustainable quality of life. But we need your help!!!

Nominations for the following categories are due August 31, 2012:

Business
Collegiate Effort
K-12 Educators & Institutions
KOB Youth Awards
Government Programs
Nonprofit Organizations
Affiliate Champion

Nominations will be accepted online only. To access the nomination form, click here.

Finalists will be honored and winners announced on Thursday, November 1, 2012 during the 22nd Annual Environmental Excellence Awards Celebration at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City.

I would stulrgge to think of a good one!Currently waiting to hear back from about six networks about various issues and, as usual, will have to chase them up repeatedly before they bother getting back. Most of them are full of hot air and staff are more interested in going to pfaffing about on Facebook than doing their jobs properly.
