KOB on Campus is a Keep Oklahoma Beautiful campaign that will coordinate a statewide friendly competition among the on-campus environmental interest groups in Oklahoma's colleges and universities.  A traveling trophy will be awarded to the group in each category determined to have made the greatest measurable difference in litter control, recycling and sustainable practices. 

 

Historically, Oklahoma colleges and universities have organized campus-wide, volunteer-driven BIG EVENTs, many of which have been registered as Great American Cleanup™ in Oklahoma participants.  There are other on-campus efforts by select committees, sororities, fraternities and other student service groups that have also accomplished a great deal in an effort to improve the environmental and sustainable quality of campus life. 

 

This KOB program will generate a bit of competition and recognize those good works, putting a spotlight on the emergence of a new generation of environmental stewards leading the green wave.
