Nomination Deadline Extended to 9/7

12-EEC---Web-Banners(outlines) 2

Over the past couple of weeks, we have been learning of the struggles many have had submitting an online nomination form to Keep Oklahoma Beautiful's Environmental Excellence Competition. To be honest, we too have had our fair share of struggles with the system since we implemented it 3 years ago. If we can't make it work, obliviously you won't be able to either.

So, in light of the difficulties that we have all been experiencing this year, KOB has switched to a totally new system for accepting nominations. Not only does it work, it even lets you save your progress and return at a later date to complete the nomination!

Heck, even Karen in Newkirk proclaimed “I believe you have it!” After she successfully submitted a nomination.

In order to give you enough time to submit a nomination, KOB has extended the nomination deadline to next Friday, September 7, 2012.

Click here to go directly to the new form or click here to download a pdf copy.

If you submitted a nomination prior to today and didn’t receive a confirmation email, please contact me immediately to determine if I ever received your form.

I am terribly sorry for any inconveniences and trouble that you may have experienced. If you have any additional problems or questions, let me know.

Best Regards,

Just to second on hhteaer; I too will cross against the light if it is safe to do so. Most urban biking advisors recommend doing this in fact just because if it's safe to go, there is surely some overly impatient fucknut in their deathmachine riling themselves up to get to that next red light as quickly as they can. Living in SF and biking up and down Market to work every day, I've learned the biggest F-U a biker can give to the ornery driver is to pass them (and the dozens of cars in front of them) and never be seen again.
