Projects Coordinator

The Role: The Projects Coordinator is an integral member of the KOB team responsible for developing, organizing, implementing and maintaining the various programs and projects of the organization, under the direction of the Executive Director and Board of Directors.

Responsibilities: 

  • Implementing, maintaining, and marketing programs 
  • Growing and expanding program reach yearly
  • Preparing program wrap-up reports to submit to Board, sponsors and staff
  • Prepares an Annual Report summarizing all programs/projects for the fiscal year
  • Manages supply sorting for programs
  • Designs graphics for print and web and collateral materials and promotion materials
  • Manages social media accounts 
  • Maintaining the appearance and content of KOB’s website and blog
  • Traveling, as needed, visiting statewide constituents, affiliate communities and events that support the mission of KOB. 
  • Submitting news releases
  • Event planning for a major yearly event (600+ guests)

Qualifications: 

  • Degree in job-related field is preferred
  • 2-5 years experience in program management/coordination preferred
  • Must have proficient experience with Macs
  • Working knowledge of Adobe software (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc)
  • Knowledge of press releases and media relations
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Effective communications skills, including verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Nonprofit experience a plus
