Yes, you can clean up alone. If you want help forming a group, though, let us know. We might know someone in your area!

March 1st - May 31st. But we encourage volunteers to hold cleanups all throughout the year!

Anywhere in Oklahoma! Please avoid trespassing and get permission before cleaning up private land.

The “Keep America Beautiful rule of thumb” is one 30-gallon bag per adult (so two if they are 13 gallons) per hour. For example, a three-hour event with 50 volunteers would be 50 x 3 = 150.

Since we strive to provide supplies to communities in every one of our 77 counties, we must limit supplies! Thank you for understanding if we cannot fill your entire request.

Disposal of the trash is the group's responsibility. You can contact your local landfill, use your home dumpster, rent a roll-off dumpster, or partner with a local waste disposal business.

Unfortunately, all of Oklahoma does not have access to recycling services. For a list of some local recycling facilities, please visit our KOB Recycling Directory.

Register December 15 - March 1: Supplies will be delivered to your local Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) warehouse in March.

Register March 2-May 31: Must arrange for pickup or shipment

The Trash-Off event is held every 3rd weekend in April. This event is the signature event of Oklahoma's Great American Cleanup in partnership with one of our benefactors, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT). However, you can host your #GACinOK cleanup between March 1 and May 31.
