Keep Oklahoma Beautiful is partnering with communities across the state to complete projects that inspire pride. Apply to have your unique Route 66 project considered for funding.

Grant Program Overview

Grant Value: Up to $5,000

What projects qualify for funding? 

Any project that benefits your community and contributes to preserving and enhancing Oklahoma's natural beauty or helping create a healthy, sustainable environment for future Oklahomans. 

Sample projects might include: building/painting a new welcome sign for your town, planting native flower beds in community spaces, installing trash cans in city parks or at roadside attractions, cleaning up illegal dump sites, educational workshops for your community, and so much more! 

Grant Recipient Responsibilities

  • Recruit volunteers for the project
  • Submit a big-picture plan for your project/event
  • If applicable, submit a maintenance plan for your project/event
  • Complete a report with details from the project/event

Timeline

  • Applications Open: July 1, 2025 - July 31, 2026
  • Recipients Notified: Ongoing
  • Projects Completed: Ongoing
  • Final Report Due: Within 30 days of event
