Affiliate Grant Opportunities

Update for Affiliates -

Keep Oklahoma Beautiful is proud to announce the 2026 grant funding cycle to support  projects across our Affiliate Network. These grants help create visible, lasting community improvements that benefit residents and strengthen local environmental stewardship and beautification efforts.

Grant Categories

Roadside Beautification Grants

Support projects that enhance the visual appeal and welcoming character in your community's most visible areas. Think murals, sculptures, refreshed signage, landscaping along main thoroughfares, crosswalk improvements, or repainting community structures. These projects should be visible to residents and visitors alike, creating pride and beauty in shared spaces.

Environmental Grants

Support projects that directly benefit local ecosystems and waterways to promote environmental stewardship. Right now KOB is especially excited about pollinator gardens, but this category also includes anything and everything eco-friendly; think native planting and plant care, cleanup events, composting initiatives, recycling programs, and educational programming that gets your community engaged with environmental issues.

Funding Details

Individual grants range from $100 to $6,000, with awards scaled to match project scope and demonstrated capacity. Affiliates may receive one grant per category per year. Please keep in mind we ask that your funding requests come as whole dollar amounts.

Who Can Apply?

Any KOB Affiliate in good standing may apply. Good standing means current on annual dues and participation in our statewide programs. New affiliates are welcome and encouraged to apply—these grants are a wonderful way to jumpstart your partnership with KOB.

Selection Criteria

Applications are reviewed by our team and sponsoring partners, who evaluate projects based on:

  • Community impact and visibility
  • Feasibility and realistic scope (projects should be appropriately scaled to available funding and your capacity to complete them)
  • Clear project timeline and budget
  • Demonstrated community support or partnerships
  • For returning Affiliates, completion of previous grant reporting requirements

Grant Reporting Requirement

All grant recipients are required to submit a final report documenting project completion and community impact. Completion of reporting is necessary for consideration in future grant cycles.

Partners in Community Pride

These grants are made possible by Oklahoma government agencies who believe every community deserves beautiful and healthy public spaces. Our sponsors at the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality and the Oklahoma Department of Transportation invest in local environmental action because they know that when communities have resources, remarkable things happen.
