Affiliates get access to grant opportunities for environmental, beautification, and community improvement projects, plus guidance through the application process. In 2026 alone, KOB funded volunteer support, pollinator gardens, public mural preparation, trash roll-offs, median beautification, university-led garden expansions, trash grabbers, composting initiatives, and more. The work looks different in every community, and so does our support.

When you affiliate with KOB, you join a community of organizations working toward the same goals across all 77 Oklahoma counties. That means shared resources, shared knowledge, and a louder collective voice for environmental stewardship in Oklahoma — whether you're a major metro nonprofit or a small-town municipal committee working your corner of the state.

KOB hosts workshops throughout the year covering environmental programming, community organizing, grant writing, and more. Affiliates receive two free tickets to every workshop — bring a colleague and make a day of it. Additional tickets are available for teams who want to bring more people.

Affiliates are eligible for the Oklahoma Clean Community Award Program and to nominate themselves or volunteers for statewide community honors recognized at KOB's signature annual event, the Environmental Excellence Celebration. Annually, 500+ environmental leaders, community organizers, business professionals, and public officials gather for an evening of dinner, a live awards ceremony, silent auction, and more. It's the biggest night in Oklahoma's environmental community, and affiliation puts your organization in the room.

As a KOB affiliate, your organization also connects to Keep America Beautiful, the national network behind the Great American Cleanup and some of the country's most recognized environmental programs.
