Affiliates get access to grant opportunities for environmental, beautification, and community improvement projects, plus guidance through the application process. In 2026 alone, KOB funded volunteer support, pollinator gardens, public mural preparation, trash roll-offs, median beautification, university-led garden expansions, trash grabbers, composting initiatives, and more — because the work looks different in every community, and so does our support.

KOB hosts workshops throughout the year covering best practices, inspiring speakers, and real conversations about the work happening across the state. Affiliates are welcome to bring their whole team, and those doing stand-out work are invited to present their own projects, turning each workshop into a stage for recognition and peer-to-peer learning. Affiliates are eligible for the Oklahoma Clean Community Award Program and to nominate themselves or volunteers for six different statewide community honors recognized at KOB's signature annual event, the Environmental Excellence Celebration. Annually, 500+ environmental leaders, community organizers, business professionals, and public officials gather for an evening of dinner, a live awards ceremony, silent auction, and more. It's the most prestigious night in Oklahoma's environmental and beautification community, and affiliation puts your organization in the room.
