PROJECT STIPULATIONS

  • Projects must be completed within a 6 month period, and a finalized project wrap up report submitted within 30 days of project completion.
  • AFFILIATES MUST BE IN GOOD STANDING WITH KEEP OKLAHOMA BEAUTIFUL IE. DUES PAID, ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION Affiliates Requirements UP-TO-DATE, ANNUAL REPORT SUBMITTED)
  • Organizations may submit multiple applications.

2023 GRANT RECIPENTS:

DEQ ENVIRONMENTAL GRANTS

Yukon 66 Main Street- Granted $2,399 to install energy-efficient LED lighting at the Yukon Sunset mural.

Up With Trees- Granted $4,000 to plant new trees and remove hazardous trees from Tulsa neighborhoods.

OKC Beautiful- Granted $5,000 to plant trees at Oklahoma City public schools. 

City of Stroud- Granted $4,000 to purchase and install trash receptacles. 

Keep McAlster Beautiful- Granted $1,200 to enhance median bump-outs on Carl Albert Parkway by planting locally sourced greenery. 

Keep Broken Arrow Beautiful- Granted $3,138 to plant drought-tolerant native plants around Northeastern State University Broken Arrow campus, and to install educational signs. 

Ardmore Beautification Council- Granted $2,000 to provide additional recycling opportunities to Southern Oklahoma citizens. 

ODOT ROADSIDE GRANTS

Ardmore Beautification Council- Granted $500 to plant wildflowers on the south side of Broadway across from Thompson Square.

Main Street Altus- Granted $1,000 to update and protect local flower beds with weed-proof fabric and DG-decomposed granite filler. 

City of Stroud- Granted $1,000 to install metal benches, trash receptacles, and an art sign. 

City of Pauls Valley- Granted $2,000 to transform discarded fire hydrants into permanent roadside art installations at the historic Santa Fe train depot.

Okeene Historic Preservation Group- Granted $3,000 to implement new sidewalks in the Main Street area. Also granted $3,000 to repaint Farmer's Service Station and commissioned a historic mural on the northside facing wall. 

Keep McAlester Beautiful-Granted $1,500 to place monuments outside of the Police Department, International Order of Rainbow for Girls Headquarters, and the Pittsburg County Courthouse. 

OKC Beautiful- Granted $5,000 to purchase and plant trees in northeast Oklahoma City neighborhoods to enhance streetscape and environmental benefits. 

Up With Trees- Granted $2,000 to plant trees along the I-44 on-ramp to Broken Arrow Expressway in Tulsa to provide noise reduction, stormwater mitigation, and pollutant filtration. 

Cushing Pride- Granted $1,000 to enhance the landscape around the high school. 

Holly J's Antiques & Treasures- Granted $5,000 for projects that impacted the community.
